Our Nursery

At Sherwell Valley Nursery, we strive to inspire a child's curiosity through exciting learning environments where they are able to develop positive relationships with all around them.
We provide high quality interactions and experiences from experienced nursery staff which will contribute to your child growing into a strong, capable learner.
Your child's happiness and development is at the heart of everything we do and this is their first step into becoming part of the Sherwell family.

Early Years Education Funding for two, three and four-year-olds

From 2 January 2024, eligible working parents can apply for 15 hours of childcare for their two-year-old. Parents have until 31 March 2024 to apply for a code.

To apply for a childcare code, each parent needs to be working and earning the equivalent of 16 hours a week at the national minimum/living wage and under £100,000 adjusted net income per year. This means that each parent needs to earn just over £8,600 per year to be eligible for 15 hours a week of childcare during term time.

All three and four-year-old children are entitled to 15 hours of free education and childcare per week, 38 weeks per year, while some three and four-year-olds may qualify for 30 hours of free education and childcare per week, 38 weeks per year. For more information about these entitlements, please visit:
