Year 2 have been learning about composting.

During an interactive session with a lady from Resource Futures, 27th April, 2016,  the children learnt about the composting process and the four stages of composting. They learned about what they could compost and what to do when they were at home. The children were able to plant a bean and hunt for mini-beasts in compost made by centipedes and millipedes.

Thank you to Mr Taylor for organising such a fun and interactive session. All of Year 2 had a great time and learnt lots about composting.
