On Monday 8th February, 24 brave students from Years 1-6 took part in the first whole school event of the year- Sherwell Valley Does Countdown. After 4 gruelling rounds (consisting of numbers, letters, conundrums and an additional ‘Who on Earth is this?’ round), Emerald were crowned champions with 4 points, closely followed by Ruby with 3. The students who took part impressed their audience of parents and children and should be congratulated for their hard work!
