Over the last few weeks, the children have been harvesting the fruit and vegetables grown in the school vegetable patch.   A large proportion of these get delivered to the school kitchen, where they are turned into yummy treats, such as garlic bread, potato salad or options for the salad bar. When they are served, a photo of the children harvesting them is displayed, making the link between the school vegetable patch and the children’s dinner plate.
