A big thank you to all of the parents, children and members of staff who came to help with our outdoor projects on Saturday 8th October. It was a fantastic day with approximately 50 volunteers – digging, planting and building all around the grounds.

We weeded and reseeded the mini summer wildflower meadow; cleared an area in the woodland ready for a new outdoor classroom; created new flower planters and more benches. By the Infant Playground we planted new fruit trees and renewed the colourful SVPS logo. We distributed three large piles of woodchip on the woodland path and planted bags and bags of spring bulbs!

All of these projects were funded by a grant awarded to the school by Tesco, as part of their Bags Of Help initiative.
