On Tuesday 15th December at precisely 11.03am, Y3 watched Major Tim Peake blast off on his six month mission to the ISS. We think it will be one of those moments in history when we reflect upon where we were when this happened…

Y3 were very excited when Major Peake gave us the thumbs up and waved to show the world he was OK. We gave him our thumbs up and a wave back, because we are all very proud of his momentous achievement. Science doesn’t get more exciting than this! I wonder if anyone from Y3 at SVPS will be inspired to become an astronaut in the future and follow in Major Tim’s floating footsteps?
