Here at Sherwell Valley we have a proud tradition of turning out talented musicians, who frequently play leading roles in secondary school productions.

We currently have three peripatetic teachers in school each week, offering lessons in Singing, Piano/Keyboard, Guitar, Ukulele, Drums and Recorder.

Children can opt for:

an individual lesson. Cost: £9.50 for 20 mins, £14.00 for 30 mins

a paired lesson. Cost: £7 for 30 minutes

Despite the impact of the Coronavirus we still have nearly 80 children having lessons in school who will take time out of class to have music lessons with one of our experts. In some cases children may have lessons during lunchtime, if their parents are anxious that they don’t miss any class time.

With this many children having lessons, the main problem is to find time and space to fit them all in. Our timetables for each instrument tend to be full nearly all the time, but parents can opt to put their child on the waiting list.

We can always find space for new students so if you are interested in putting your child forward for lessons, please contact Mr Bradbury on mr.bradbury@svps1.com. It will help if you state clearly your child’s name and class, the instrument and type/cost of lesson desired.
