Torquay pantomime cast visit

The cast from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves came to visit at lunchtime. The children were very excited! Mrs Grimes has organised, as usual, the annual panto trip to the Princess Theatre on Christmas Eve. Over 1500 children and adults will be watching the shows on that day! Break a leg!!!

Computer Science Education Week

Monday 7th December marked the beginning of Computer Science Education Week.  Some of the children have joined in with this by participating in the Hour of Code!  There are many fantastic FREE online resources for this.  We have been using where there are Frozen, Minecraft, Flappy Bird and Star Wars themed modules.  The children have loved these

The Year 6 hockey team went to Paignton Community College to play in the Sainsbury’s School Games Hockey Tournament. We played 7 games against several schools including Barton and White Rock. We didn’t lose any games but we did draw against St Margaret Clitherow. We all played well as a team and in the end

Pulled from the Patch!

As the growing season comes to an end, Ground Force members pulled the last of the purple carrots and parsnips from the school vegetable patch. They proudly presented them to the kitchen staff, ready for Wednesday’s roast dinner! The children were particularly surprised when they lifted a giant parsnip, measuring in at just over 43cm!
