On Wednesday morning, children from each class in KS2 wrapped themselves up warm, put on their boots and braved the icy cold weather to take part in the RSPB’s Big Schools Bird Watch survey. After winning the Torbay regional competition for the E.S.F.A National ‘Danone Cup’, our Year 5/6 girls headed to Plymstock to play the Devon finals. In appalling conditions, which included minus temperatures, snow, hail, rain, gales and some sunshine, the girls took on Hooe Primary school, winners of the Plymouth district.
